Church kneelers at

Holy Trinity

Bosham, Sussex

There has been a church on the site of Holy Trinity in Bosham, Sussex since Saxon times.

A small monastery was said to be on the site prior to the Saxon church building, dating back to the 6th century.  The monastery may still be present in the building as the church is made from rubble with an ashlar dressing.

The church has been updated many times throughout the centuries but has managed to maintain some of the original Saxon building.  These are the lower part of the tower, the chancel arch and the tower arch.

The chancel has been extended twice during the 12th and 13th centuries. The tower was increased in height in the 15th century and the south porch was added in the 16th century.

With such an amazing history the church has gained a grade I listed status.

We are delighted to have received an amazing collection of church kneelers from the church, we hope you enjoy them.
